Halloween was lots of fun at our house. Q went as Buzz Lightyear, Rayne was Giselle fom the movie Enchanted, Colby was a cowboy and Quinn cracked a whip like Indiana Jones. Fortunately Mom didn't have to start from scratch on all four costsumes this year as some items around the house and some hand-me-downs worked out great! Everyone was happy with how things turned out and that makes for a pretty successful Halloween!

Yeah, yeah, yeah! I am so glad you finally started a blog. I will add you to ours so I can follow you. Love the Halloween costumes, especially Buzz Lightyear (ha ha). You all look great!
Great, Darc! I'm happy you have a blog...I'll have to invite you to mine...love the costumes!
Yay! Now we can keep in touch more. Love the cute pics! Our blog is at kevinandemilypackard.blogspot.com.
Hi, I'm so glad you started a blog! What a beautiful family. I love your hair longer. Matthew says he hardly recognizes you. This is so wierd, but I made the same costume for Emily that you made for Rayne. I don't have pictures up on our blog yet, but hopefully soon. You put a lot of time into it and I really know because yours is more involved than the one I did and I thought it was really hard. You are amazing. I sure miss hanging out with you.
Oh my heavens! The kids look great! And Q has learned how to smile for the camera. That's something Quinn still needs help with. ;) And when did Colby lose his front tooth? I missed that one! Looking forward to seeing you soon!
I actually put two patterns together. I found someone online who had made one and she listed the 2 patterns, one for top and bottom. There is no way I could do something from scratch. My mother-in-law is an amazing seamstress and she helped me make the alterations. It got complicated, but it worked out. It was my first time not just following a pattern exactly, so it was kind of fun. Where did you find the fabric? Rayne's is so perfect! I searched forever until I found something that kind of worked. And how great to have made pjs out of it too. You're so good at doing things like that!
